Basic Information

• What: Westercon 54, the Western Regional Science Fiction Convention for 2001.
• When: July 5-8, 2001 (beginning Thursday at noon, ending Sunday at 4PM)
• Where: The DoubleTree Jantzen Beach and DoubleTree Columbia River hotels in Portland, Oregon.
• Westercon 54 will be a weaponless and smoke-free convention.

The Westercon 54 shirts are back!

You probably saw them at the convention but may not have had a chance to purchase your own. The shirts, with Frank Lurz's fabulous artwork, were a big hit and many of the sizes were completely sold out by the first day.

We now have more shirts available for purchase:

• Small to XL: $15
• XXL to XXXL: $17
• Shipping: $2.25 for the first, $1.25 for each additional shirt (within the US only -- email jlorentz@spiritone.com if you are outside the US)

We also have one shirt in Child's Large, at $15.

Memberships

• Attending memberships in Westercon 54 are $75. They may only be purchased at the door. The deadline for preregistration has passed.
• Registration Times will be as follows:
  • Thursday (July 5th): 11AM to 11PM
    
  • Friday (July 6th): 9AM to 11PM
    
  • Saturday (July 7th): 9AM to 5PM
    
  • Sunday (July 8th): 10AM to 2PM
• One-day memberships are available at the following rates:
  • Thursday: $20
    
  • Friday: $30
    
  • Saturday: $35
    
  • Sunday: $20
• Supporting memberships are $20 at all times.
• Upgrades from Supporting membership to Attending are available for the current difference in rates (i.e. $20 less than the current attending membership rate).
• Children must be accompanied by an adult with a membership.
  • Children who will be 6-12 at the time of the convention are half price.
  • Children 5 and under at the time of the convention are free.
  • A full adult attending membership purchased for a child includes free child care throughout the convention, space permitting.
• Locus Awards Banquet tickets are $35.

All prices are in US dollars. Make checks payable to "Westercon 54."
